The Department of Justice has filed an official complaint alleging misconduct by Chief Justice of American District Court James Boseberg. Fox News has reviewed the complaint which was written by Chad Mizle, Chief of Staff of Attorney General Palm Bondi and addressed the Chief Justice of the United States Court of Appeal for the district of Columbia Circuit, Sri Srinivasan.
Fox News has learned that the complaint was written and filed under the direction of Attorney General Palm Bondi.

“The Department of Justice, alleging misconduct by Chief Justice of American District Court James E. Boseberg, was presented honorably to make an inappropriate public comment about President Donald J. Trump for Chief Justice of America and other federal judges, who have reduced the integrity and fairness of the judiciary,” called Sri Mizle.
Judge Boseberg is presiding over a high-profile case, in which Al Salvador is associated with the exile of several migrants and he has talked about keeping DOJ lawyers in contempt due to his claim that his order to change his claim was not followed. President Trump has also made important remarks about Judge Boseberg.

The complaint gives a details of two opportunities, to which Judge Boseberg commented that DOJ reduced the integrity and fairness of the judiciary.
“On March 11, 2025, Judge Boseberg attended a session of the Judicial Conference in the United States, which exists to discuss administrative matters such as budget, security and facilities. The DOJ is asking Chief Justice Srinivasan to mention the complaint to a special investigative committee as an inquiry is necessary to determine whether Judge Boseberg’s conduct “prejudice for effective and early administration of court business.” The complaint also asks that Judge Boseberg was removed from the case associated with the migrants of Venezuela, which was sent to Al Salvador, “to prevent the public confidence and erosion of public confidence while moving forward.”

This is the second time Bondi DOJ has filed an official complaint against a federal judge.
