Ozi Osbourne re -joined Black Sabbath for a final performance before his death, a show that will mark the last time the basist Terence “Geyser” would mark Butler, watching his long -time friend.
Butler reminded of his time with Osbourne – about six decades after the formation of the band in 1968 – and the importance of his final show together near his hometown.

Bassist said that Ozi was a “born entertainment” that would “do anything for laughter.” He coined his friend “prince of laughter”.
Prior to the July 5 concert, Butler admitted that he knew that the main singer had issues of health, but he admitted that he was surprised to see how “Fril” Ozi had become in his last days.
“I knew he was not in good health, but I was not ready to see how weak he was,” Butler wrote in an essay published. Sunday Times.

The 10-hour show was hosted by Jason Momoa and was performed with Metalica, Guns Ann ‘Roses, Jack Black, Steven Tyler And another. During the show, at a point, which was livestroined in the UK, mythological drivers, including the tool’s Danny Carry, Red Hot Chile Papers Chad Smith and the Travis Barker of Blink -182, covered the “signs of the universe”, fighting with their drumsticks.

Butler remembered that “the strange part of the show was the end.”

“Generally, we all hugged each other and used to take a bow for the audience,” Butler wrote. “But Ozi was on his throne and we didn’t think what we do? What we do? Tony shared his hand, I presented it with a cake, but it was a strange feeling to finish our story like this.
“I wish, I had more time backstage with Ozi, but desires are now meaningless. As Ozy said:” Wish you in one hand and the other in the other and see who comes first. “

Butler said, “Nobody knew that he would be a little more than us two weeks after the last show. But I am very grateful that we got to play together once in front of our beloved fans. Fans and all bands, musicians, singers and single artists love that night was incredible that night.

After leaving school as a teenager, Osborne spent six weeks in jail after being convicted of robbing a clothes shop. In 1967, he was admitted by Butler to be a singer in a band who would become Black Sabbath.

Osbourne wife Sharon, daughters Kelly and Amy, and sons Jack, besides daughter Jessica, and sons have survived their first marriage by Elliot and Louis.
