Ichiro Suzuki was always known for his career preparation during his 19 -year Major League baseball career.
For him Inspiration in the hall of fameNot so much.
“Of course, I am nervous and I probably should prepare more, but this morning I really went to the field, tossed and ran away for a long time and did my exercise, so I think it was more important to me,” Suzuki said on Saturday through an interpreter on the eve of his inclusion.
Suzuki is the first Japanese player selected to the hall and the second is ashamed of a vote to choose from unanimously. He will join CC Sabathia, six-time all-star on Sunday, who won the 2007 Al Cy Young Award and Relief Pitcher Billy Wagner. Dave Parker, who was to be included a month ago, and Dick allen Posthumously honored. He was voted by the Classic ERA Committee.

Since the arrival of Suzuki in 2001, MLB has been deeply influenced by Japan. He was inspired by the inauguration of an exhibition in the hall on Thursday, titled Yachu/Basball: The Transpiratory Exchange of the Game, which celebrates Japanese and American baseball methods. It also honors not only Suzuki, but also Pitcher Hideo Nomoi and the current two-way star Shohei Otani.
As is connected as both countries, Suzuki does not want Japanese baseball to become a carbon copy of MLB.
“I don’t think Japan should copy what MLB does. I think Japanese baseball should be Japanese baseball and the way they do things, and MLB should be the same what they are. I think they should separate and not the same,” they said.
Suzuki received 393 out of 394 votes (99.7%) from Baseball Writers Association of America. The Sabathia was 342 ballot papers (86.8%) and at 325 (82.5%) on wagner, which was more than 296 votes required for 75%required.
Suzuki joked for a unanimous induction vote about falling shy, calling a writer who dropped him out of voting. The ballots are secret, so it is not known that Suzuki was kept away from its list, but after the announcement of yogas, Suzuki initially introduced the author to dinner.
He said during his speech on Sunday, “There are three thousand hits or 262 hit achievements recognized in a season. Okay, but one of you,” he said during his speech on Sunday. “By the way, the offer for that writer to have dinner at my house is now over.”
There has been only one player in the history of the hall Voted unanimously: Mariano Riviera, close to the legendary New York Yankiz, received all 425 potential votes in 2019.
Suzuki was a two-time al-batting champion and 10-time all-stars and gold glove outfielders, who hit 117 Homer, 780 RBI and Seattle, New York Yanki and Miami with 509 stolen bases with .311.
He is probably the best contact hitter, including 1,278 hits in nippon professional baseball and 3,089 in MLB, Season-Trord 262 in 2004. His combined total is more than 4,256 from a total of 4,367 PT Rose MLB records.
Suzuki visited the hall seven times during his career, but this time is different.
“I had a purpose. I will come to the cellar and look at some artifacts. Around this time, however, I did not have a purpose to see. I just wanted to experience copertestown, take all this in. There is a difference around this time.
“This is where I (during the season) and clean myself and get a great feeling again,” he said.

For Sabathia, his induction represents a full-cycle moment because his plaque would have sported him a yankis cap with interlocking NY.
Welloles, California, a native of Sabathia, “I wanted to be close to the house,” but after “showing” Yankis did not offer him a contract on the first day of the free agency, his wife agreed to signed him with Bronx bombers after a meeting with General Manager Brian Cashman.
“My wife was the one who said: ‘You are trying to do all these different things, find out all these contracts. You need to go where they want. You talk about everyone that you want to win, a winner and all these things. When he kept it in this way, it was as if I was born to become a yanki.
“And I think for the longest time I tried to run away from him because my father will always tell me that I am going to play for Yankiz. When I was 23 years old, he died, so he was not to tell me that it was not right if it was not failed. I think I was ever taking the best decisions.”

Suzuki and Sabathia were team companions for over two sessions, making their induction extra special.
Sabathia said, “It seems that we are team companions. Obviously, Ichi and I were a crook together. I always say that they have stolen my cheating of the year award (in 2001), so it is capable of going to Hof with him and Billy.”
Sabathia along with Cleveland, Milwauki and Yenkis went to 251–161 with a 3.74 ERA and 3,093 strikes between Randy Johnson and Steve Carlton during 19 seasons.
While Sabathia and Suzuki were selected in their first presence on the ballot, Wagner made it in his 10th and final attempt.
“Okay, after seeing how Lee Smith and Ted Semans and (other) people like people had to wait for their turn to reach this point and go through the Veterans Committee, and how difficult it is to go here, you know, it is well worth waiting,” Wagner said.
