The BBC and ITV have gained broadcast rights in the 2027 World Cups in Brazil, ensuring that the largest tournament in women’s football remains free-to-air for the UK audience.
Broadcasters will divide the games evenly between the group and the knockout stages, but both will show the finals.

“From the domestic league to the major international tournament, we have already brought the moments defined for millions of people in the UK, including this summer female euro tournament.”
The BBC will show live coverage on Sport TV and iPlayer as well as coverage will be brought on the website and on radio and social media platforms.
ITV will have live games on TV as well as coverage on social media and ITVX. In addition, the broadcaster will show all the qualifying matches of England and friendly.
ITV director Niall Sloane said, “FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 is sure to have another standout tournament and we are ready to continue their relationship with both FIFA and BBC.”
The 32-Team tournament will begin on 24 June 2027 and end on 27 July.
Spain is the Defending World Champion by defeating England 1–0 in the final in 2023.
The pair will again be head-to-head in the Euro 25 finals of Sunday.
