Exclusive: The Army Secretary has ordered the US military academy at the West Point to restore the school’s crest on the bebals at the West Point Cadet Chapel, reversing the Biden-era’s decision, which has not included the crest while changing the Bibles.
“Since the establishment of the West Point, cadets, officials and soldiers have drawn strength and inspiration from the promise of God,” Army Secretary Dan Driskl said on Friday by Fox News Digital. “The decision to remove the historical crest of the academy from Bibals in Cadet Chapel is still another example of the previous administration that pursues far-fetched politics in our military institutions. I am instructing the West Point to immediately reversed this decision and restore this important symbol of the country.”

Asked for comment about the new bibels, a spokesperson of the West Point told Fox News Digital that the Chapel’s bibels now have a military academy’s name.
“Bills purchased for the West Point Cadet Chapel is mixed with the ‘United States Millionary Academy, West Point, New York’,” the spokesperson said in a statement on Fox News Digital Wednesday.
The judicial watch filed the original FOIA request to learn more about the decision, due to concerns that the military academy is demanding to eliminate relationships with the group’s label “traditional values”.
But after no response to the documents, the judicial watch on Tuesday filed a case against the Defense Department for documents.
“The heavy lifting of the judicial watch gives results,” Judicial watch president Tom Fiton said in a statement to Fox News Digital on Friday. “Again goes to show how our cases can correct corruption. The US Army and the West Point cannot be wrong in honoring God.”
