A BBC reporter has become a 50,000th person to reduce the spinnekar tower in Partsmouth.
John Maguire first challenged the BBC breakfast, with a landmark of 170 meters (560 ft) down 100 meters (330 ft).
The tower, which marks its 20th anniversary in October, had more than five million visitors since opening.
As he landed, Maguire told the audience and presenters to Charlie Steot and Naga Muncheti: “You get the most extraordinary view … I must say that it is rather disappointing.”
