Srinagar: On Wednesday, Jammu -Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that more than 3.35 lakh pilgrims have so far participated in the Amarnath Yatra this year. It includes nine young foreigners from six countries including the US, Germany and Canada, who took the Baltal Marg, a government spokesman on Thursday.The 38-day journey, which began from 3 July and end on 9 August, is being held via traditional Pahalgam route and small Baltal route.LG said, “The success of the yatra will give a significant boost to the tourism sector in the union sector,”, saying, “Yatra, fulfilling all expectations, we are running easily.Ross Norman of Canada said, “I experienced some beautiful geology, nature and immense energy of this cave. We had only philosophy. This deep silence was a meeting consciousness. It was very special.”LG has instructed the medical authorities to conduct the pattern of health related events and intensive analysis of causes between pilgrims and take precautionary measures.Last year, more than 5.12 lakh pilgrims visited Amarnath Shine, the highest number in 12 years.
