Roy Black, a leading Miami Defense Advocate whose customers included Jeffrey Epstein and William Kennedy Smith, he died at the age of 80, his law partner said on Tuesday.
Miami Herald reported The father of two, that black died on Monday at his home in Coral Gables.
“For more than 30 years, Roy was my teacher, patron and friend,” said the Associated Press in an email, his law partner Howard Srebik. “Disadvantages (tons) I feel personally and professional.”

In Miami, Black was seen as a goat in legal circles, the greatest, fellow defense lawyer David O. Marcus said, who compared his late colleague to NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
Marcus said in an email at the news outlet, “He worked hard compared to any lawyer, and he saw every prosecutor, who he had ever gone against him. I will remember him. He is beyond the measure of his influence on criminal defense.”

Castrones, a winner of Indianapolis 500, were acquitted from allegations that he tried to save more than $ 2 million in taxes.
Other customers represented Black, which included the deceased conservative political commentator Rush Limbo; Khauri, who was not found guilty for bribing a tennis coach of Georgetown University, to get his daughter admitted to the school and Miami police officer William Lozano, who was acquitted in the shooting of the Black Motorcycle Clement Lloyd.
