After a rich military confrontation, a now associated with Iran, the United States and Israel, the state of Qatar issued a public safety warning, urging residents and citizens to report any suspected debris that is probably linked to a missile blockage recently. Alert follows Iran’s missile launch, targeting the US Air Base in Qatar on Monday. In a joint statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal called the public to take care, if they face unusual pieces or objects. The ministries stressed that no such material should be touched or transferred, citing the potential threat to dangerous substances. The statement emphasized, “To handle such materials should be done exclusively by the competent authorities, due to the possibility that they may have dangerous substances that may pose a threat to public safety.” This advice comes in view of a missile attack by Iran, which was recently initiated in retaliation for US attacks on several nuclear sites in Iran during the 12-day struggle with Israel and Iran.Former US President Donald Trump confirmed that 14 Iranian missiles were fired on the Al Udid Air Base during the attack. According to Trump, 13 of those missiles were intercepted, and one was allowed to fall harmlessly to intentionally avoid unnecessary growth.“It was a very weak response,” Trump said, reducing the impact of Iran’s actions. In response to the missile launch, Qatar increasingly called the Iranian ambassador to a formal opposition. The Katri government condemned the attack and reiterated its commitment to the national sovereignty and the safety of its inhabitants. The statement of the Joint Government also directed the public to report the officials of any unusual items or pieces, “so that they can be dealt with according to the approved procedures.”Qatari officials clarified that this was strictly a public safety matter and urged the citizens not to panic but be cautious. The potential risk missile stems from the debris that probably falls in or around civil areas due to the inter-hosa blockage. Accepting the disintegration caused by the attack, in a gesture, Qatar also announced exemption of all traffic violations recorded on the day of the missile strike. The move aims to reduce additional stress for the affected motorists during the event.
