New Delhi: India on Tuesday carried forward its attack after the issue of Kashmir against Pakistan at the United Nations and the ongoing dispute over the Indus water.Marking the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, India’s Ambassador Parvathani Harish said that the states that violate the principle of “good neighbor” by promoting cross-border terrorism should bear a serious cost.,“It should also be said that by promoting cross -border terrorism, there should also be a serious cost for good neighbors and states that violate the spirit of international relations. And the condemnable tasks of terrorism are accountable and bring them to justice,” Harish said.“India launched Operation Sindoor targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, focused in nature, measured and non-escleratory, which was aimed at achieving its primary objectives. A closing of military activities was directly concluded at Pakistan’s request.”Harish made a contradiction between the two countries and accused Pakistan of being affected by terrorism and economic instability.“I am also forced to respond to the comments made by the representative of Pakistan. The Indian subcontinent provides a contrast in terms of progress, prosperity and development models. On one hand, India is – a mature democracy, a surgeing economy, and a pluralist and inclusive society.”“As we argue to promote international peace and safety, it is necessary to identify that there are some fundamental principles that need to be honored universally. One of them is zero tolerance for terrorism. It makes a member of the council useless to indulge in practices who are unacceptable to the international community,” he said.It raised a dispute over the Indus Water Treaty between India and Pakistan after Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, which was laid by New Delhi after the Pahgam terror attack in April.“Jammu and Kashmir remain one of the oldest controversies on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council. It is an internationally recognized disputed area, which is to be made according to the resolution of the United Nations Security Council and the wishes of the Kashmiri.“A 65-year-old Sindhu is a notable example of water treaty dialogue and diplomacy between India and Pakistan, working peacefully to work with a water-sharing system between two neighbors. The treaty has left behind the duration of tests and tribulations in bilateral relations. Stop the flow of water to 240 million people of Pakistan, which rely on their livelihood and existence.”
