He then took advantage of 3–0 in the second set, but Costux, who had lost five singles matches in a row since May, ralled to break and draw the level at 4-4.
After forcing Costux to serve to stay in the match, Ukrainian blamed Radukanu for handing two match points, which the UK took to its second chance.
