Divers have found debris of a royal naval warship in the North Sea – after more than 100 years of drowning during world war.
HMS Nottingham was identified at a distance of 60 miles from the coast of Scotland, by a team of ten divers led by an international project Project Axplore, which is intended to be historically to detect the UK.
Assistant crew members were killed When a 457 feet ship was targeted by a German submarine on 19 August 1916.
At a depth of 82 meters, its resting place remained a mystery until Project Axplore did not document the site this month.
The team stated that “there is no doubt” about the identity of the ship due to its name ticket, dimensions, equipment and status, which matched reports about the attacks of the attack.
