Baltimore- A federal judge in Baltimore on Tuesday cleared the way for the possible contempt proceedings to be brought against the Trump administration, as it failed to follow the court order, which required him to return a deported Venezuela migrant from Al Salvador.
An update by US District Judge Stephanie Galagher focused an extraordinary court hearing at the position and location of the “Christian”, which was sent to a 20 -year -old Venezuela migrants in March as part of the early wave of foreign enemies as part of the early wave of Trump administration.
Galagher on Tuesday told Christian lawyers that the recent updates in the case could allow the plaintiff to proceed on potential sanctions or potential contempt action against the Trump administration, although she stressed that she was not paying attention to what the effort would be successful.
“I do not disagree that you have accepted a base under which you can potentially seek any kind of restrictions or contempt”, Galagher said. “I am definitely not deciding on it – or offering any opinion whether this effort will be successful – but I think you have accepted a base on which you believe that such a speed may probably be the upcoming.”

He also stressed that, despite the procedural changes before the court, it does not mean that they are “leaving the ship” in Christian’s efforts to secure the return to the US, although he admitted that the situation on the ground had shifted a lot.
Galagher, who appointed Trump, ruled in April that Christian’s exile violated a disposal agreement that the Homeland Security Department had killed a group of young refugees last year with a group of young men. Under the 2024 deal, DHS agreed not to deport the members of that class until their refuge claims could be completely postponed by the American court.
The hearing underlined the rapidly changing fact pattern, outlining the Custodial position of Christian. A few days ago, Christian was sent from Sexot, in Al Salvador, to his own country in Venezuela.
Galagher said on Tuesday that the new situation has “placed the court in a different currency” a week earlier than its position.
Christian’s lawyers argued the move, which they had no prior notice, the Trump administration should have the basis to proceed to keep it in criminal contempt. The judge, for his share, did not rule it.
In Galagher’s decision four months ago, he determined that Christian’s expulsion was “violation of the contract” due to the settlement conditions of the 2024 DHS deal. Then he ordered Trump administration to return to America
But as Tuesday’s hearing clarified, Daniel Lozano-Camergo, or Pravasi, referred to as “Christian” in court documents, is not on its way to America from Sekot.
In fact, lawyers of the Department of Justice confirmed on Tuesday that they were sent back from their home country Venezuela along with 251 other Venezuela migrants on Friday, which the Trump administration had left the US from the US under the aegis of Altime Imiling Act, which was used only three times in US history.
His return to Venezuela was part of a prisoner swap made to secure the release of 10 Americans detained in that country, and was later confirmed by US State Secretary Marco Rubio on Friday.
It has also raised intensive concerns about the status of hundreds of vinezuela migrants, which have been sent from Cicot to their original country. Earlier this year, Cecot is very rarely known about deported persons, and it is not clear whether, or how many, in question, migrants were ordered to “remove” from the US blocking their return to Venezuela.
Christian’s lawyer, Kevin Dijong on Tuesday raised the Trump administration for his “clear disregard” for the order of Galagher, and described his inclusion in the prisoner swap as the “arrogant violation” of the April order.

Trump Administration, Valley said on Tuesday, “sent [Cristian] For Venezuela, the country from which he is seeking asylum, “without providing any notice to the court or its legal team, until he was on the ground.
Dijong argued that the exchange was in work for several weeks, which he said that the Trump administration “took” active, purposeful steps “,” [Cristian] The country from which he is actively afraid of harassment. ,
“Recurring violations have been violated from administration”, Dijong said, and “clear disregard for” [DHS] Settlement Agreement, court orders for court orders, and court order to file a status report. ,
“I don’t say it lightly – and it’s a weighty issue to consider – but given the history of violation here,” Dhejong said, he believes that “criminal contempt should be on the table.”
Galagher did not disagree. He told the plaintiff that he feels that he has been given a basis under the Trump administration “he could potentially seek any kind of restrictions or contempt”, although she insisted that she was not paying attention to what the effort would be successful.
He also said that update does not mean that the court “leaving the ship” over Christian’s efforts to secure his return to America “, although he admitted that the situation on the ground had moved a lot.
After a small holiday, Christian lawyers told Galagher that they would file measures related to appropriate restrictions within the next 10 days.
In the interim, Galagher said that he would still need a trump administration to file a weekly status report on the position of Christian in Venezuela.
He also attacked a remarkable exchange with Attorney Ruth Ann Muller of the Department of Justice, when Muller argued that any discovery going on in Venezuela as the position of Christian in Venezuela is tolerated the court, as relief has already been provided. “
He argued that the matter should now be dismissed as the matter is now moot, which was strongly refused by Galagher.
Galagher then asked how the Trump administration’s filing responded to the court question whether he had complied with the Salvadorian government to return to the US or “to help him to help him to recommend his return.”
The DOJ argued that the question is that Christian is in Venezuela’s custody.
“No, it does not comply with my order,” Galagher rapidly objected. “This does not answer the question.”
The case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, another migrant disappeared Al Salvador, kept similarities in the case of Christian. (Fox News)
The case holds several similarities in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a salvadorian migrant in March disappeared Al Salvador and ordered a federal judge to return to the US.
Like Abrego Garcia, Christian remained in Al Salvador for months, demanding his return despite the order of a court, and the administration needed to register regular updates for its position to determine compliance with the order.
But the hearing of Tuesday’s movements – and in recent times, the blitz of the court filing handed over to Galagher has outlined a very different situation which has been played instead.
“Christian was a pawn in the scheme,” Dijohg said on Tuesday, “In view of the order that the government takes” active purposeful steps to deport it “, and with clear prior knowledge.
He argued, “They could include him”
Instead, Dejong said, “Only appropriate estimates we see that government lawyers disregard the court”.
In May, Galagher refused to give the request of the Trump administration that he needed to return to Christian to raise his order. He insisted that his order had nothing to do with the strength of his refuge request, for two clear lower-level drug crimes and a punishment recently as January.
Instead, he said, it is about allowing him to procedure under the law, and under the disposal with DHS.

He then said that this is not a matter of whether Lozano-Camergo will eventually receive asylum-this is a question of the process.
The DHS settlement agreement “he needs to stay here and hear it,” he said.
