In February, Attorney General Bondi ordered a review of the federal prosecution of Donald Trump and started a comprehensive internal audit with the aim of “rebuilding the priorities of the Department of Justice” in line with the agenda of the White House. That attempt included the creation of a “weapons group” with an investigation into the alleged “political justice” in the federal law enforcement.
The group is allegedly reviewing the functions of Manhattan District Attorney Elvin Brag and New York Attorney General Latitia James, who brought civil and criminal cases against Trump and his family.
