New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday organized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s United Kingdom and Maldives on the upcoming visits to a pre-department starting on July 23.This will mark PM Modi’s fourth official visit in the UK.External Affairs Secretary Vikram Misri underlined the agenda for a visit to the UK, saying, “The Prime Minister will throw light on the official visit to the United Kingdom tomorrow, on July 23, to discuss with the Prime Minister Kir Stmper. He will also call King Charles III and interact with top trading leaders of both India and the UK.”Highlighting the developed bilateral ties, Misri said, “The India-UK partnership was upgraded in a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2021 and has been regularly observed. Both sides are committed to further enhance this partnership. Regular engagement is at the level of foreign ministers, as well as many institutional mechanisms cover strategic, economic, energy and scientific domains.,During the visit, PM Modi and his British counterpart starrer are expected to exchange ideas on a comprehensive conversation on full spectrum of India-UK relations and suppress regional and global development.In the second phase of his visit, PM Modi will travel to Maldives from 25 to 26 July at the invitation of President Muizu. The journey comes amidst efforts to stabilize diplomatic relations after recent strains in India-Moldives relations.
