John Stewart, hosting the “The Daily Show”, canceled his decision to cancel CBS on Monday “late show with Stephen Collbert,” dismissing the claim that it was a financial decision and not to appeal to President Donald Trump.
“Obviously, I am definitely not the most objective to comment on the matter,” Stewart accepted Kolbert’s late night rise on Comedy Central on “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report”, before he started his praise on CBS before he started his praise.
“Look at Stephen more than all expectations in the role and to be the number one late night show on network television is a great pleasure for me as an audience and as his friend, and now Stephen is canceled for ‘purely financial reasons’, Stewart said suspecting the network’s claim.
Comedy Central and CBS are sister networks under paramount umbrella.

Stewart admitted that the late night TV is broadly struggling financially, but insisted that “When your industry is encountered, you don’t just call it a day.”
“The fact is that CBS did not try to save its number one-remedies late night franchise, which has been in the air for more than three decades, surprising everyone, ‘it was purely financial, or perhaps the least resistance to your $ 8 billion merger?”
“A show was hitting a show that you know that a delicate and tamasic president was made so insecure, suffering from a case of insufficiency of chronic gender,” Stewart said. “I believe CBS lost the benefit of doubt two weeks ago when he said that he sold his major news program to forcibly pay the recovery fee to the President.”
CBS employee Stephen Colbert’s cancellation is called ‘chilling of free speech’
Stewart said that he understood the decision making with a merger of $ 8 billion at stake, but became serious saying, “The show, which you now want to cancel, sensor and control, came from those F — ING shows.”
He said, “This is why you make that money! It shows that something says, shows that he takes a stand, shows that there is fearless,” he said. “We try. We try F — ING every night. And if you believe, in the form of corporations or network, you can make yourself so comfortable, that you can make a gruel service so tasteless that you will never be on the king’s radar again, why no one will see you, and you F — You are wrong.”

Comedy Central Host stated that critics would not get “smoking gun email or phone calls”, to answer why Kolbert’s show is being canceled, but the answer is “fear and pre-renovation that is holding all the institutions in the US in this moment.”
“This is not a moment to give. I am not giving inside. I am not going anywhere, I think,” Stewart said, Comedy Central has also been called in ownership of CBS, the core company of CBS. “For those institutions, those corporations and advertisers and universities and law firms, all of them. If you still think that you will save the knee to Trump, then I have one thing … F — dismiss the up.”

The CBS surprised the nation with its announcement last week that it would end the “The Late Show” in May 2026. Liberal Critics accused CBS and Paramount of being politically motivated, but a report by Pew’s Matt Beloni showed that Colbert’s show cost $ 40 million network per year and was running in a $ 100 million budget.
Stewart admitted himself last week that he did not know this future in Comedy Central under future ownership.
Collbert’s cancellation comes on the heels of paramount to settle Trump’s case against CBS News on his editing “60 minutes” interviews with Kamla Harris last year.
