The Homeland Security (DHS) department released a video on Monday shown an illegal foreigner, in which an off-duty customs and Border Security (CBP) officer was dumped outside the Bronx Hospital by another suspect.
The video features a man in a red shirt, who rides a black color in a hospital’s Gulf, and later pushed a passenger in a white shirt on the ground. The passenger mopped before the driver escaped from the scene.
DHS said in a post on X that the video shows the suspects on the same moped who was also captured the video in the shooting scene. DHS said in the post, “These individuals will have to face full weight of the US justice system.”
Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez is accused of shooting a CBP officer during a robbery at Fort Washington Park late Saturday night. The CBP officer was walking out with a partner in the park when the police said Nunez and another suspect pulled on the moped and tried to rob the officer at gunpoint. The officer took out his own service to defend himself. Both Nunez and the officer were shot several times.

The officer, who is not named, was shot in the face and hand. He is expected to recover.
Nunez illegally entered the US on the Arizona border in 2023. He was released in the country under the Biden administration. At the time of his arrest for shooting, he was an active warrant for kidnapping in Massachusetts and several former hooliganism arrests, according to DHS.
On Monday, the other person was arrested in connection with the shooting.

According to DHS, in February this year, Beroa was arrested for 2 degrees careless threats, careless driving and unlicensed driving.
“On June 12, 2025, Beroa convicted Petit Laarsi in the Bronx County Supreme Court. The petition was made in consolidation of all his previous arrests, and was conditionally discharged and allowed to roam the NYC streets,” also said. “A judge gave a final order to remove Beroa on 3 January 2023.”
New York is a sanctuary city for illegal aliens, and is not in ice custody.
