The former Democratic Governor, after a joke, made a special request to Florida village Ron Desantis for New York City Mayor candidate Andrew Cumo that he would move to the state of Sanshine if he loses to socialist Zoharan Mamdani.
Cuomo’s joke appeared to raise an alarm for many people, who resorted to social media to express their anorexia for this idea. Desantis, a Republican, was among those who expressed concern in response to an article about Kuoomo, who should be defeated by Mamdani again, given the change of scenes.
“New York Do not Florida!” Desantis posted on X.
Desantis have predicted that the property value in Palm beach would “touch the sky” from New Yorkers, if Democratic Socialist Nominee Mammadani wins the mayor’s race in New York City in this November. Cuomo appeared joking on Saturday when he said he would go to Florida.
Former New York Governor Democratic lost to Mamdani in primary, but plans to challenge him as an independent in the general election. A handful of elections in New York City this month show that Mamdani is at the forefront, but is far from running away with the race. In the surveys, Mamdani is ahead of the cumo anywhere from about 15 points to about 15 points of three points.
The surveys have Mayor Eric Adams, leaving behind Mamdani and Kuomom, who announced earlier this year that he would re-election as an independent candidate, and Parent Angills co-founder Curtis Sliva, co-founder of Angels, who is a Republican Mayorl Nominee for each other.
