A dead body was found in a lake during the search for a missing mother.
Rachel booth, 38, disappeared in the early hours of Saturday, when she was last seen by her family in Barton village in Cheshire.
The Cheshire police had earlier stated that the authorities had found a dead body, which they considered to be a Ms. booth in a lake of Okmere, about eight miles from Barton, after “extensive discovery and appeal in the area”.
The force has not formally identified, but the family of Ms. Booth has been informed and supported, Bal said.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
After disappearance, CCTV footage on Saturday showed Ms. booth in Sandwayway Garage of A556 near Northwich at around 03:50 BST.
The police said on Sunday that a underwater search team started investigating in Okmere and the surrounding area, where it was believed that she had traveled.
Bal also appealed to contact Ms. Booth to contact her and “Tell us that you are fine”.
Wilde Noise Delmere, which provides external activities in its lake nearby, was closed during the discovery.
