Tributes have been paid to the world’s longest time KFC employee, who has died after working in the same branch for 47 years.
Polyn Richards, known as many Miss KFCs, first began working in 1978 at Tuntan’s East Street Restaurant.
He started his career as a cleaner, but played almost every role in the store including the team leader and manager.
Taunton has been paid tribute to residents and businesses who described her as a kind and kind woman, with a dry sense of humor.
Toonon Town Council said that Ms. was sad to know about Richards’ death and described her as a friendly and famous face in the city.
“She was an excited and incredibly qualified recipient of one of our civilian awards in March this year,” said a council spokesman.
“Our thoughts are with his family and all those who knew and loved him.”
Talking to the BBC Radio Summerset in January, Ms. Richards said that she did not initially plan to stay in the branch forever, but “just enjoyed it”.
“I like to work here, I like to meet people and this is my favorite food, chicken,” she said.
At that time, manager Bath Sutton said that customers will visit Parli branch every day to see Ms. Richards.
“He calls him Naan or Mrs. Chicken or Mam,” said Ms. Suton.
“Everyone actually comes to see him primarily, as much as they chicken.”
Hundreds of people have expressed their condolences on social media after the announcement of Ms. Richards’ death.

The team of Spad Shake in Tuntan said that Ms. Richards will be “remembered” in the region.
“Polyn was very well known for its dry expressions in the city when used to behave with people who were drunk. Relax in Shanti Polyn.”
A KFC spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend and colleague, Polyn Richards.
“We are supporting Polyn’s family, who has asked to respect his privacy during this difficult time.”
