In recent times, heartbreaking reports from Syria have surfaced: Cruel killings of innocent civilians-many-correspondingly with the country’s Islamist regime, by the aligned forces, now under the leadership of interim President Ahmed al-Shara, which was known to their Nomi De Gaare, “Abu Mohammed,” Abu Mohammed, “Sunni Islamic regional groups.
Take this from this Muslim: Peace depends on the total defeat of the Islamist death creed
As a Syrian-American, my heart that has become my ancestral homeland hurts. As a physician, I cannot separate myself from human pain behind each title. And as someone has spent in decades warning the rising danger of Islamism, I am playing the alarm: a new atrocities are taking root in Syria, cloured in religious language, but every bit is dangerous and destructive. The importance of highlighting, understanding and cope into Syria leads to another atrocities after 55 years, which cannot be eliminated by Baathist military dictatorship.

The world has been tragically used for Syrian suffering. Since the Assad regime launched its own campaign of terror in 2011, the country has become synonymous with war, displacement and loss against the long revolution of anti -government protests. More than half a million people have been killed. More than 13 million have been displaced. Cities like my ancestral hometown Aleppo have been reduced in debris. And yet, from the ashes of the reign of Bashar al-Assad’s family, a new dietary is emerging, this time not from secular fascism, but by religious domination.

Now we are getting points for communal violence targeting the religious minorities of Syria, especially Christians and drauses. These are communities that have been present in Syria for centuries before the rise of Islam, and which have waves of harassment. Now they are being targeted again, this time the groups who sympathize the new regime, whose leaders follow the Islamic interpretation of Sunni Islam, and who sees the religious difference as a reality of pluralism, but as a crime worthy of death.
This is not Islam. This is Islamism.
Islamism is a theoretical interpretation that promotes a rigorous, democratic vision of Islam as a political system. It wants to enforce Sharia, or Islamic law, not only as a personal or spiritual guide, but as a governing authority on every aspect of public and private life. The rights of Islamist citizens are not seen by God but from their democratic version of Islam. Islamists believe that their political power is divinely compulsory and dissatisfaction is heretics and traitors. This is not faith. It is fascism wrapped in the language of God.

Over the years, Islamists have introduced themselves unbearable to the atrocities of Assad. He has told the world that they are fighting for freedom, justice and democracy. But let’s clear: Islamists in power are no longer different from Assad. Their language and methods may vary, but their goals are the same: full control, fear, violence and repression.
Where Assads used torture chambers and chemical weapons, both Islamist swords and shields use religious identity -like religious identity. While Assads sowed sectalism to crush dissatisfaction in the name of national unity, Islamists now do the same in the name of their version of “divine truth”.
And the result is the same: bodies in the roads, tore families and suffocate any future for freedom.
There is a theory in the heart of this struggle that we, in America, catch the beloved – but it is rapidly in danger around the world: religious freedom. This is not one of the many people. This is the foundation of all others. As I have said many times: Religious freedom is the tip of all freedom spears. This is “First Liberty”. When it thrives, society flourishes. When it is crushed, all other freedom collapses.
This is not an abstract philosophy. This is the living reality of millions. When people are deprived of freedom of worshiping and believing – or not believed – according to their discretion, it was only a short time ago, before they are denied freedom of speech, to gather, to vote, to live without any fear. Syria is a tragic case study that occurs when religious freedom is replaced by ideological powerism, whether it is secular or democratic.
But Clarity allianceWe are committed to throwing light on the dangers created by both political Islam and ruling rule. We are a network of Muslims, pre-Muslims and colleagues from across the conceptual spectrum who believe that freedom is not just a Western value. This is a human. We believe in every person’s dignity, equality of everyone before law and necessary truth that no government has the right to tell what you have to believe.
We ask the international community not only to condemn the latest atrocities in Syria but also to work. This means that there is now a demand for investigation in the massacres. This means to justify the government in Damascus and demand transparency in protecting every minority and every citizen.
This means to prevent recognition and support from any regime that fulfills or enables such crimes. This means recognizing Islamism as a dangerous political ideology that it is not a legitimate expression of religious belief, but its extremist deformity.

In 2013, the Obama administration prepared the basis for the return of another military rule in the current leader Abdel Phata al-Seasi in Egypt’s “democratic” elected Islamist rule in Egypt. The intensive religious diversity of Syria can be a bull against these dualism fascism and game of throne.
But this means standing with Syrians: Christians, Drews, Sunnis, Shia, Alvites, Kurdish, Atheist, everyone who craves for a Syria, where they can live peacefully, can freely worship, gather and say their mind without fear.
President Donald Trump should immediately call for full accountability and transparency from Damascus on their direct responsibility for the treatment of minorities by the government of the Shark and religious minorities under their rule.

The Syrian people are better than an alternative between Asad and Al-Golani. They deserve a future that are not in communalism and violence, but in freedom and dignity.
The world once earlier ignored Syria, and the price was frightening. We cannot ignore it again.
