She said that she was running about 120 miles (193 km) a week at the height of her training program.

“I found my period on Friday and I knew a lot that I was wearing light colored leggings, but at every checkpoint, they had women-specific toilets with sanitary products.
“I think it only shows women to these things. Women are not only young men. They have their own specific requirements, but they were being met and I really liked it very much.”
