Chefler won the open championship for the first time in his career. The best finish he was earlier in the seventh place last year when the major event was played at the Royal Tron Golf Club in Scotland.
This year, the Sheffer ran the Fairways of the royal portrash in Northern Ireland and looked like another day in the office.
He started from the back of the pack with 68 of the first round, but entered the zone with 64 in the second round. In the second round, his eight Birds brought him to the leaderboard. The third round of 67 put him in a good controversy to win the title.
Then, on Sunday, it was more consistent and solid game all around.
He finished with only five birdies and only one double bogie in the round. He never came out in the last round and no one actually came close to catching him.
Scheffler has four wins in 2025. He won Bayran Nelson in May and then with a PGA Championship. In June, he placed Ben Griffin in the memorial.
Harris English 13-under equivalent, finished second. He shot 66 in the final round of the tournament. This was the best finish in the head of his career. Before Sunday, he ended his best in 2013 when he finished 15th.

Chris Gotrup had an incredible tournament, as well as a 12-ender equal. He gave the last round of 66 card and finished third.
Live Golf Star Bryson Decombo may have given a difficult time in the Royal Portrash, but he returned a hill climb in the top 10 when his round ended.
He shot 78 in the first round and was near the lower part of the leaderboard when he entered the second round. However, in the second round 65 helped them cut. He shot 68 in the third and 64 in the final round.
