The punishment given to a 15 -year -old boy, who abused and killed an 80 -year -old man in Leestersshire, will be reviewed.
In September, Bhim Kohli died a day after his dog was attacked while attacking his dog at Franklin Park in Braunstone Town, Lessestershire.
The boy was sentenced to seven years in custody, while a 13 -year -old girl who filmed and encouraged the attack was given a three -year -old youth rehabilitation order and was subjected to a six -month curfew. Both were convicted of murder.
The Office of the Attorney General (first) has referred to the case under the uncontrolled sentence scheme.
Earlier confirmed that he did not ask to review the girl’s sentence.
during Sentence hearing in JuneProsecutor Harpreet Sandhu Casey said that Mr. Kohli was subjected to a “seven-and-a-half-minute period of continuous aggression” in the park.
The boy racially misused Mr. Kohli, attacked him and slapped him on his face with a slider shoes, while the girl laughed and shot him on his phone.
The attack left Mr. Kohli with three broken ribs and other fractures, but Mr. Sandhu Casey said that the deadly injury was in his spine, which was caused by the spinal fracture of the spinal cord.
