Officials said that eight children were admitted to the hospital in Massachusetts after suddenly falling ill with a sudden “seizure -like symptoms” in a church outside Boston.
The incident came to light at St. Paul Parish in Cambridge last night as a trip was hosting a concert by the French youth songs.
Cambridge Fire Department chief Thomas Kahil told WCVB The first respondents initially received a call about a seized child while attending the show, but when they arrived, the children appeared normal sitting on the steps in front of the church.
“This quickly increased symptoms like seizure in seven other people,” said Kahil. “They were all taken to hospitals around the Cambridge area.”

The Cambridge Fire Department described the hospitalization of “eight pre-e-cushions and early teenage youths” as a non-life-threatening and said that about 70 others participating in the concert were not impressed.
