Jammu: Five people died and one was seriously injured when an SUV was traveling in a deep gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening.One person died on the spot, while three others died due to their injuries while transferring to Government Medical College (GMC), Anantnag. An official said that another passenger died in a hospital in Srinagar on Saturday.Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and PMO Jitendra Singh in Moss mourned death and assured all possible assistance to the bereaved families.Ramban Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aanayas Khan announced a relief of Rs 1 lakh every Rs 1 lakh for bereaved families and Rs 25,000 for the injured.
