More than a third of MPs have signed a letter to the Sir Kir starrer for the UK to recognize the Palestinian state.
Some 220 MPs from nine political parties Call is supported, More than half of them labor, arguing that the recognition of the UK would send a significant step towards a “powerful” message and a two-state solution.
The letter put a fresh pressure on the PM after France, which was a commitment to recognize the Palestinian state within months.
But in a statement after an emergency phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron and Germany’s Frederick Merz, Sir Kir said that the recognition of a Palestinian state was to be “part of the comprehensive plan, resulting in a resulting result in the two-state solution”.
In his statement, Sir Kir said: “With our close colleagues, I am working on a route for peace in the field, focused on practical solutions that will create a real difference for the lives of people suffering in this war.
“This route will determine the concrete steps required to the ceasefire, in a permanent peace, a strict need.
“The recognition of a Palestinian kingdom is one of those stages. I am uneven about it.
“But it should be part of a comprehensive plan that eventually results in two-state solutions and permanent security for Palestinians and Israelis.”
A joint statement of leaders from Britain, France and Germany, after their emergency call, does not mention the Palestinian kingdom.
But it stated that all three countries “are ready to take further action to support the immediate ceasefire and a political process, which leads to permanent security and peace for Israel, Palestinians and the entire region”.
This statement is important for the Government of Israel, demands an end to aid restrictions and “warns of humanity that we are looking at in Gaza, now it should end”.
The statement also emphasized that Hamas should be disarmed and “Gaza has no role in future”.
The letter comes after the UK and 27 other countries, “condemned” drip feeding and inhuman killing of citizens “in search of food and water in Gaza.
Israel, which controls the entry of all supply into the Palestinian region, has repeatedly stated that there is no siege, blaming Hamas for any case of malnutrition.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry dismissed the statements of the countries, saying that it was “separated from reality and sends wrong messages to Hamas”.
According to the United Nations Human Rights Office, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army trying to get food assistance in the last two months.
The letter has been signed by 131 Labor MPs, including senior figures such as former minister Liam Biren and committee chairman Ruth Cadbury.
Lib Dame Leader Sir Ed Davi, former Tory Minister Kit Malthahouse and Orthodox Sir Edward Leh – the longest serving MP of Parliament – have also signed.
SNP, Greens, Plaid Cymru, SDLP and Independents were among those who signed the letter.
The letter argued that a Parliament has organized the “Cross-Cross-Consity for Decades” on recognizing the Palestinian kingdom as part of the “two-state solution”.
MPs say that the Manyata alone will not end the pain in Gaza, “Palestine’s British belief will be particularly powerful” has its history in the region.
Labor MP Sarah Champion, who presides over the International Development Selection Committee and who organized the letter, stated that a two-state solution is “the only viable motion to secure permanent peace for the region”.
He said, “Recognition sends a powerful symbolic message that we support the rights of the Palestinian people, that they are not alone and they need to maintain hope that is a path that leads to permanent peace and security for both Israeli and Palestinians,” she said.
