A ski jumping suit controversy surrounded Norway and alleged two gold medalists against five members of the country’s team, the Sports Federation announced on Monday.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) stated that Marius Lindwick, Johann Andre Fourfang, two coaches and one service staff members were accused as part of the investigation of “equipment manipulation” at the Nordic World Championship.

Everyone was accused of moral violation of alleged molestation. Illegally modified suits can help ski jumpers fly further with more aerial resistance. Lindwick won the gold medal at the men’s Normal Hill event at the World Championship, while Norway took the bronze home for the men’s team program on Large Hill.
Both the awards are in danger.
The FIS did not give any timetable for hearing or decision in the case. The governing body said that restrictions, fines and disqualification of results are among those punishments that can be imposed. The organization said that it conducted interviews with 38 witnesses and investigated the evidence of 88 pieces in the case.

Norway’s head coach Magnus Brevik and Equipment Manager Adrian Livetane first confessed for tampering, stating that the suits were changed before the men’s large hill program.
“We regret it like dogs, and I am very sorry that it happened,” Brevik said in March.
Both Lindwick and Forefang were in the team who won a bronze medal at the World Championship. The FIS disqualified and suspended both of them from individual major hilly phenomena. Both denied participation in the alleged plan.
It is not clear what will be the position of Lindwick and Fourfang for the 2026 Olympics in Italy.
