Balasore: Two teachers from a school in Balasore, Odisha were arrested by a Class 9 student repeatedly after accusing them of sexual and mental harassment during school hours in the last three months. Police allegedly detained the headmaster of the school to suppress the case. He was questioned for a few hours and released on Monday.One of the accused – 43 -year -old Mathematics Teacher – was arrested late Sunday night. The 41 -year -old art teacher, another accused, was arrested on Monday, which was said by Additional SP, investigative unit, Neeranjan Behera on crimes against women.It comes after less than a fortnight when a college student allegedly denied justice in a complaint of sexual harassment against his HOD after establishing himself in Balasore on July 12, which leads to large -scale outrage from various quarters. On July 14, he faced 90% irritation. The accused teacher and the principal of the college were arrested.The mother of a 15 -year -old schoolgirl accused in her police complaint on Sunday, alleging that the two accused would do obscene gestures on their daughter, touch the girl improperly, and ask them to meet them in secluded areas in the school premises. If he reveals the crime or opposes his advances, the teachers threatened to fail him in the exam.
