A 12 -year -old boy has died after falling from a tool at a play park in Cheshire.
The Cheshire police said that the child said on Friday 18:00 after BST, said the Wharton Recreation Ground of Ladvard Street, Vinsford, Cheshire Police.
Emergency services treated him but died on the spot.
Police said that his family members were informed and the officers are appealing to anyone who watchs “deep tragic incident” to come forward.
DET SGT John Rhodes said: “Our views remain with the family and friends of the boy who sadly died at the scene.
“As part of our investigation, we are asking anyone who can be in or around the Wharton Recreation Ground area at that time and saw anything that can help us in our inquiry to get into contact.
“At this stage I would not ask the public not to feed any speculation, especially on social media, because it is an ongoing investigation.”
